Hi, I’m Dave and I’m a middle-aged dad with too many hobbies and not enough ambition to get good at any of them. This is my attempt and pushing myself to be more than a newbie at all the things I like doing.

So I decided to take two of those hobbies that seem to go pretty well together (cameras and guns) and lean into that. Now occasionally some other stuff might creep in; I’m a fickle man, what can I say.

The plan is to write what I know and what I’m learning. Hopefully along the line I’ll learn a whole lot and pass that along. We’ll see.
